When and where is this event?

Saturday April 14th, 2017 9am-3pm  at Roseau High School Gymnasium, Roseau MN

When can I get in and can I reserve a seat?

There is no reserved seating, it’s first come first pick of seating. The doors will open to the public at 8am.

Is this event kid friendly?  

You are welcome to bring you infant, we will even have a nursing room for you. However there is no child care and you will have to buy children over one a ticket.

How about my husband, can he join me?

 If he doesn’t mind sitting amidst a sea of women and he has his own ticket, then he’s welcome to join us.

What is the seating like?

There will be folding chairs and bleachers. Please bring your own cushion or stadium chair to make sitting more comfortable. There will be breaks but you will also be sitting the majority of the day.

Where do I park?  

 Please refer to the school map, you will see a parking lot in the back of the school and there is parking on the streets.

What is the temperature like in the gym?    

This is northern Minnesota, the temperature outside is unpredictable as is the temperature inside. There are overhead fans that will be on and even though the temps are set cooler, all those bodies will heat it up so dress in layers.

Will we be served food or snacks?

 YES! We are serving a box lunch and throughout the day a youth group will be selling pop and snacks. Complimentary coffee will be served, but our supply is limited!

What happens if I have food allergies?  

We will do our best to cater to your needs however, we can’t promise that we can meet everyone’s needs. If you have serious allergies please feel free to bring your own lunch.

Do I need to bring anything with me?  

You may want to bring your Bible and a notebook if you like to keep notes. Liz Curtis Higgs will also have books and other items for sale so you may want to bring money to pick up your favorite item.

Who do I write the check to?              

Please make any checks out to AWC. (Area-wide Women’s Conference)

Do I need to print my ticket if I registered on-line?

If you have your ticket with you, you can go directly to the gym and find your seat. (A digital copy of your ticket will work as well.)  If you don’t have it with you, you’ll have to go through registration.  We’ll have a record of your registration.  If you register by mail before April 4th a ticket will be sent back to you, please bring it with you for the same reason as the on-line registration.

Just a couple of other tips:

  • Please be sensitive to others and their allergies. Please keep scents to a minimal.
  • Liz will be available for autographs and pictures after the event.
